18k Gold Italian Vintage Biker Link Bracelet with 1964 Leap Day Heart with Ruby - 7.25 inch length

Leap day is curious thing we humans have decided on. It's a bit like daylight savings but only every four years and it doesn't make us groggy for 10 days following. 

In some places, Leap day is associated with marriage proposals as well as flipping gender roles. If your birthday is on leap day, do you celebrate only every four years?

Beautiful Italian vintage biker link bracelet 1950s-1960s era. Solid links are made of 18k gold and measure 4 mm wide. Bracelet measures 7.25 inches long and is fitted with a puffy gold heart charm engraved for 2/29/1964 (leap day) and set with a small 2.5mm faceted ruby. Overall weight is 13.55 grams.

Piece has Italian marks for gold purity, location, and maker (maker and location are illegible), as well as the import stamp for Sweden. Hidden box clasp works perfectly and has extra security of two safety eight wires. Piece is in excellent vintage condition with normal age related wear. Can easily be sized down.
